Welcome to CueScope XR — your Mixed Reality Pool Assistant. This guide walks you through setup, table alignment, AI ball detection, and taking your first guided shots.
Open Settings → Room Setup and walk around to scan your walls, floor, and objects.
Set up your Guardian boundary: choose Roomscale for full movement, calibrate floor height, and adjust anchor points to match your real pool table.
Save your calibration so it's ready for future sessions.
For the best experience, play in a well-lit environment — it helps both passthrough clarity and AI ball detection.

Align the Table
Match the virtual table to your real one
Use one or both hands to grab the table handle and position it over your real table. Three components help you align precisely:
The table wireframe with the handle, ruler, and center cylinder.
Table Handle — grab and move it to position the table.
Ruler — line it up with the sides of your table.
Cylinder — fits into the middle pocket for precise calibration.
Need adjustments? Grab the handle with both hands to rotate (or use the Rotate button), and resize with the Increase / Decrease buttons. Press Transparent Table to hide the virtual overlay and check alignment against the real table.

Once it's aligned, press the Fix button on the left-hand menu to lock the table in place.

Place the Virtual Balls
Auto with AI, recommended
Press the AI button on the left-hand menu while looking at the balls on the table.
Stand still until the virtual balls drop into place.
Grab the virtual cue ball to start trajectory prediction.
Manual placement, for fine tuning
Raise your right hand to reveal the wrist button labeled Set Up.
Press Set Up above the table — a virtual ball will fall onto it.
Grab and position it directly over the real ball. The predicted trajectory appears instantly.

Take a Shot
Freeze the line, then strike
Press Pause (middle of the left-hand menu) to freeze the trajectory.
Aim and shoot with stable, on-table guidance.

Clear Virtual Objects
Reset the table anytime
Raise your left hand to reveal the Clear button, then press it to remove all virtual elements.
Or press the AI button to re-detect the physical balls without clearing first.

Adjust Shot Accuracy
The Force Panel
If the predicted trajectory isn't matching real play, raise your right hand to open the Force Panel:
Use Up / Down to calibrate shot power.
Use Left / Right to fine-tune shot trajectory.
Troubleshooting
Table isn't aligned properly?
Recalibrate the table, then lock it with the Fix button.
Virtual ball isn't positioned correctly?
Make sure it's placed directly over the real ball.
Trajectory looks off?
Adjust the simulation force using the Force Panel.
